Andy Olmsted, an American soldier in Iraq, blogged about his own death. He was killed Jan. 3, 2008. Here are some of his words: "I'm dead, but if you're reading this, you're not, so take a moment to enjoy that happy fact. If there is any hope for the long term success of democracy, it will be if people agree to listen to and try to understand their political opponents rather than simply seeking to crush them. I do ask (not that I'm in a position to enforce this) that no one try to use my death to further their political purposes. I went to Iraq and did what I did for my reasons, not yours. As passionate as I am about personal freedom, I don't buy the claims of anarchists that humanity would be just fine without any government at all. A world without government simply wouldn't last very long; as soon as it was established, strongmen would immediately spring up to establish their fiefdoms. So there is a need for government to protect the people's rights. And one of the fundamental tools to do that is an army that can prevent outside agencies from imposing their rules on a society. Americans are fortunate that we don't have to worry too much about people coming to try and overthrow us, but part of the reason we don't have to worry about that is because we have an army that is stopping anyone who would try." Hodiau 4,000 senkulpajn infanojn perdas iliajn vivojn chiutage en chi tiu lando (Usono) pro abortigo sub la plena protekto de la legho. Today, December 28, the Church remembers the “Holy Innocents” who lost their lives in Bethlehem. Then it was all boys age two and under who were put to death at the hands of King Herod and his soldiers because of Herod’s fear of the prophecy of the Messiah."

Now over 4,000 innocent children lose their lives every day in this country because of abortion under the full protection of the law. As we remember the Holy innocents of the past, perhaps we should also request their intercession, and appeal to God’s mercy, on behalf of the millions of innocents being slaughtered today around the world."

When Herod saw that the Wise Men had tricked him, he became furious. He sent soldiers to kill all the boys two years old and younger in or near Bethlehem. This matched the exact time he had learned from the Wise Men. The the words spoken through the prophet Jeremiah came true:

"A sound was heard in Ramah,
the sound of crying in bitter grief.
Rachel was crying for her children.
She refused to be comforted
because they were dead."

50 mortigis en preghejo-atako en Kenjo/50 die in Kenya church attack

Tumultantaro brulis preghejon en Eldoret, Kenjo. Kvindek homoj eble mortita. Membroj de la Kikujo-tribo uzis la "Asembleoj de Dio" preghejon por refugh-loko.

Karanja saved at least 10 people. He said, "But I couldn't save my sister's son. He was crying, 'Uncle, uncle!'. He died." The boy was only 11 years old.
As many as 50 people died in the attack, said an official of the Red Cross. She spoke under condition of anonymity, because her name would identify her tribe, and she feared revenge-attacks.

~ Mi ofte spektas la policano-dramoj en televido. En la policano-dramo Leĝo & Ordo (Law & Order) mi lernis ĉio pri Nov-Jorko. Mi diros al vi la detaloj:

~ Ĝi ne estas facila, esti Germana. Germana aŭtisto veturis laŭ okupata vojo en Bremen, kiam li abrupte turnis maldekstre kaj estis senmoviĝita sur la tramo vojetoj, kaj prokrastis dek du tramoj.

La aŭtomobilisto diris al la policanoj, ke li aŭta Satnav (satelito navigado sistemo) diris, 'turnu maldekstru!', kaj li tion faris.
