Florida Stroke Victim threatened with Euthanasia death - Nova Eŭtanazio kazo

(English)
A Florida woman who had a stroke this past December may be killed by dehydration and starvation at the request of her husband.

The woman's mother says that her daughter, Karen Weber, is aware and responsive, and does not want to die. The husband claims Karen is in a 'vegetative state'.

A lawyer for Karen's mother says Karen indicated to him that she does not want to die. A lawyer for Karen's husband claims she is unresponsive. In many previous 'right to live' cases, the pro-death attorney has claimed the patient to be unresponsive even when others have seen evidence to the contrary.
